The variety of tile works I have shown here act mostly as surface and image studies for me to focus on a range of methods for making and depicting imagery. From using print methods such as embossing tiles from linoleum carvings, wax inlay, slip-trailing, or scratching away imagery with tiling tools, I try to see how these techniques inform and strengthen my work.
