I find ideas of heartbreak to be a fascinating subject because I have never experienced it, but it portrayed to be an ultimate anguish. I have been in a relationship with my current partner since I was fifteen and we were in high school. Although I have never experienced romantic heartbreak, I have ‘broken up’ with friends in the past and believe that I can understand the feeling. As relationships run their course and we remain depressed, we often ask the question “is it ever too late to fix a broken heart,” but in a relationship filled with mixed communication and hard feelings, sometimes we are the ones breaking it ourselves.
