When I arrived at my first residency in Brockway, PA, I took a walk along the rail trail and discovered a house on a hill, overlooking the water. The reflection of this red house on a pond was my first experiment with making underglaze transfers drawn from digitally manipulated drawings. Thinking about the fading of memory, details from homes past which we have moved on from can warp and smudge.
